Now, back to all things cannabis.
The Israeli government approved an export framework for cannabis in February 2019, and while Israel's government has been slow to vote on all laws and regulations required, Export approvals are expected Q2, 2020. For those challenged by the everyday calendar, that brings us to June and specifically to the end of June which is the end of the quarter (Q2).
According to Isracann Biosciences Investor Presentation (in the stickies at the top of the board) a graphic indicates an operational timeline (page 11 of 15). The timeline indicates the end of Q2 as the beginning of revenue generation.
EuroMed Israel is also expecting to harvest its first crop (all-be-it small at only 22,000 square feet) around the end of Q2 or the beginning of Q3 depending on growing conditions. Fortunately, EuroMed is not dependent on production from this facility to become operational. Instead, production from others will fulfill all needed requirements.
Finally, the EuroMed Investor Presentation projects a timeline similar to that of Isracann suggesting that the end of Q2 will be a time of revenue generation.
So, lets take a look at what “revenue generation” requires. First, a company must have finished product, and that product must be on the shelves and salable. Also, some type of customer education is required to let people know what and where to buy --- that means some form of advertising. This suggests (to me) that news regarding this development should come out right about now, and perhaps this week. Thus, my prediction based on Investor Presentations from both companies has been the end of June to the first part of July. This prediction may not be perfect, but it is based on written documents provided to investors far more “well healed” than you and I. Keep in mind, Investor Presentations are not written for penny stock investors. Investor Presentations are prepared for wealthy individuals who fully expect to be informed of their investments, and they are typically not inclined to waste their money.
