Hard to give advice without knowing a lot more, but the simple answer is a question. Do you think it's likely to go up, or down? If you think it's going to go up, waiting may reduce the amount of shares you can buy.
However, waiting may also reduce your risk. My advice to my family and friends is to invest an amount you are willing to lose. The worst place to be is over invested to the point that you cannot mentally withstand a dip in price. That makes you prey to more seasoned investors and shorters.
