Yes , there are stupid people in DC.
Based on the real possibility that a Vaccine is never found or is years in the making. That article makes NO sense. An in hand working treatment out weighs a questionable who knows when vaccine . Also if the aim is to safely get America back to work sooner a working treatment can do that if it can take out the fear of Death factor. We as a people will still have to follow safe distancing too.
