It felt like there was more buying interest than selling today and this is reflected in the short volume % (~58%). Yahoo finance's 1-day chart with 1-minute intervals also shows that there were NET more buy volume than sell volume.
Interestingly, today is also the first day this week without a "signal" trade at market open:
Mon, 6-15-20: 35 shares traded at 0.11 (B / A = 0.1091 / 0.12)
Tues, 6-16-20: 800 at 0.12 (B /A = 0.1091 / 0.12)
Wed, 6-17-20: 25 at 0.109 (B / A = 0.10 / 0.1099)
I think MMs made an effort at a bear raid yesterday selling 100k shares into the bid and were surprised/dismayed by the reaction, or lack thereof. Perhaps that's why no signal today?
I hope they decided that their tactic of selling down to induce a bear raid is not going to work at these levels and gives the stock a breather to go higher.
People may question why I and other long investors here aren't buying shares since we think the SP is going to be much higher. I already own ~3M shares and thus, while I joke of it, I don't really feel FOMO. Due to the number of shares I have, I am comfortable waiting. Plus money is a limited resource and I have other investments.
