On April 24, 2020, Generex Biotechnology Corporation (“Generex”) received a letter of support from UC San Diego School of Medicine regarding Generex’s efforts to develop Generex’s li-Key-SARS-CoV-2 peptide vaccine with the goal to begin mass vaccination in the Fall of 2020. A copy of the letter of support is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
UC San Diego School of Medicine, established in 1968, is the region’s only medical school. As a top-tier academic medical center, its role is to improve health through innovative research, education and patient care. The School of Medicine is closely tied to the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and UC San Diego Health, which includes the UC San Diego Medical Center, Jacobs Medical Center, Moores Cancer Center, Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center, Shiley Eye Institute and many other centers, clinics and affiliates throughout Southern California.
