I want better odds than that as well, but unless we have zero deaths in the treatment arm I think we will need a larger study to even be able to quantify how much we reduce fatality.
If however in the severe the difference is stark, then I could see an approval with phase 4.
In the mild to moderate, we may have an easier time showing a dramatic improvement if all patients are showing drastic improvement by day 14, which I think is very possible
