It will be grand when this message board scene becomes a trivial memory.
I think this is a good time to remind everybody that moderating is not always an easy job. That is why all the moderators on this UNVC board function as a team. There are no rogue mods here or personal agendas at play. That would only complicate the moderation process further....especially if there were several rogue mods acting at once....it would be a mess. That's the type of moderation system liehub has, and that is why we see the rampant lies and manipulation there.
Hangout moderation is very different than liehub moderation. Liehub is random.
Get on a list, and when it's your turn, you moderate. On Hangout, mods are hand selected by someone who shares the same aspirations for the stock as the majority of posters. In our case it's idig, who does an excellent job of selecting and keeping regular contact with all the mods. If there are reports from board members about a troublesome deletion or other situation, the matter is addressed internally, and never gets aired out on the UNVC message board.
Rest assured, the mods are always working together and will not allow rogues to operate here. We've got the best UNVC message board in the world, and we're going to keep it that way!
