True, doc et al, but it also suggests that Joe/BOD thinks that GNBT common stock (the shares we currently own) will be north of $15/share within 2 years. Since folks don't usually buy warrants at their strike price, I would think they are anticipating $30/share or greater within the exercisable time frame.
Exercising the warrants will create some dilution of common, but it will also bring cash to GNBT's coffers if those warrants are exercised. If this were any other stock except GNBT, I would think this type of news on a stock trading at $.63/share would be met with a very high level of interest. Why this doesn't happen here is anybody's guess.
This last week has sure identified numerous storm clouds on the horizon...now if only we would see some rain!
