We have formerly been told:
- The situation in Mexico is dire
- There was a rush to conduct a fast-track P3 S/C trial
- The protocol was a word-for-word copy of the US S/C trial
- The protocol had already been translated to Spanish weeks ago
- They only intended on enrolling 25 subjects
- They were willing to use the EIND data for approval
- Dr.NP has represented that the ball has been in their court
Big Pharma certainly has the means to influence non-affluent countries with the threat of withholding (or up-changing for) large supplies of critically important drugs that are provided at deep discount. Their potential motivations are obvious and have been endlessly hypothesized on this board.
The US has potential motives as well that include, but are not limited to, wanting to front-run all available inventory of leronlimab (assuming it is approved), as well as being in Big Pharma's pocket -- which seems like a foregone conclusion to me after the events of past couple of months.
Look, I know these things take time -- and clinical trials don't turn on a dime. However, something does not feel quite right here. I hope I'm wrong.
