Figured no one would even get that far
Rory discussed it, but it was such a foreign concept to wetters. Shows they don't know much about technology stocks despite telling everyone what to do with their own money. Most startup will pivot. The ones that don't likely go out of business.
Every time I think of pivots, this comes to mind. One of the classic pivots...
I believe VERB already has a sense of what Marketing works to drive leads and sales closures and what doesn't. Likely already calculated it out. Spend X to drive Y. The executives they hired not only come with that digital Rolodex to network market, but knows what works and doesn't from the SaaS companies they came from. One of which is GoToMeetings (i.e. LogMeIn).
Like all good companies, you try different things. I notice they are still doing the Google Ads at the top of searches. Probably a good investment. Maybe one of the best ones you can make for the digital business Verb is in. You'd be crazy to keep doing it, if it wasn't driving sales, so assume it works well.
The other one to continue would be to eat our own Chili. Videos that say click here and we'll show you how much more effective your videos and sales can be.
Selling a sales tool with the tool you are selling that sells itself. Very recursive. Not sure what could be better.
Couple of more links recent on SaaS marketing. Pretty much if people understood what I posted about LTV and CAC, they got the gist.
