Given this time frame as a guide, I think its reasonable to say that an earnest potential licensee, after signing the confidentiality agreement and being made privy to the details of the invention, should be able to prep and run their own test within at least the same time. After which, figure some time for the lawyers to hammer out the details of an agreement, and we may hear of a deal as early as mid July-ish?
I think there's a good chance that there will be multiple deals since I don't think any one diagnostic company is capable of meeting the WORLD demand for this test for SARS-CoV-2 and for other applications. I also think there is a tremendous opportunity for upselling other products; i.e., the N-Assay for bacteria infections and sepsis.
Really exciting times ahead!
