Many times, when we turn on the television or the radio now days, we are told to go read the report, or read the testimony, or read the article. No, I am not being political, I am being a doctor. The word inflammation is the word that keeps coming up, over- and-over again. And, we all need to read and learn what has been kept from us over the last 27 years about how to care for our human body.
In the November edition of the AARP Magazine, the cover story is a five-page article on research linked to inflammation as a common link to nearly every critical disease of aging lifestyle, called “low grade inflammation”. The new research, which drew from the VITAL study, aimed to determine the biomarker levels of several inflammation indicators in people either taking or not taking vitamin D and omega-3 fatty acid supplements, or fish oil for the purpose of reducing inflammation.
To give you more information about me, as a doctor of forty plus years, I am a graduate of The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania where I completed a residency in Orthopedic Surgery and Fellowships in Orthopedic Research and Sports Medicine. Fast forward, transforming from Orthopaedic Surgeon to farmer under the 2014 Farm Bill, I named and trademarked the first Vitamin of the Endocannabinoid System, VitaminCBD™ on December 20, 2018, the day the Farm Bill was passed making Hemp a legal crop for the first time in 49 years.
As a doctor, I know about inflammation and its different types. I have been trained to detect and treat acute inflammation.
