As I stated before, there is surely a lot going on behind the scenes, but the fact is that the BARDA application is still not approved and as long as this is the case JoeM is simply NOT ALLOWED to talk about it.
And yes, it is truly interesting to recognize, as a previous poster pointed out correctly, how this silence brings the worst fears to the surface in most of us. But that is a very common reaction among most of us humans.
Let's make an experiment. From now on, and as long as we do not know better, we all only talk about the positive possibilities of how things will be working out perfectly well for GNBT and us shareholders, once BARDA has granted us a 3 digits millions of dollars amount!? So we simply expect the best possible outcome and do not even bother to worry about the negative "what-ifs".
In that sense, here is my positive, but realistic thought about what might be going on right now.:
Application with BARDA is running for more than 5 weeks now, so we are surely outside of that "immediate denial" window. That means BARDA is taking our application absolutely serious. GNBT is working deliberately on progressing their plan to develope a CV vaccine, which BARDA is aware of and thus knows that no time is lost to wait before the big funding is given to them, until the next big milestone in the development is reached, namely the successful in-vitro testing of and following selection of the vaccine candidate, which turned out to be the most promising one.
This may take another week or two before Joe/GNBT will receive the BARDA approval and until then they are not allowed to talk about it, in order not to risk an immediate denial by BARDA. Which is why they have to remain silent until then.
Does anybody really think that, after all the effort that GNBT has already put into the vaccine development and the application for BARDA funding, they would simply stop and not continue working on the vaccine? DEFINITELY NOT!
Why haven't we heard about any other stuff, like the S1s and subsequent uplisting, etc.?
Because the BARDA funding, that will be made available to GNBT, will make such a material difference to the company as a whole, that a reassessment of the company finances will become necessary. It will open up entirely new opportunities for the future of this company. So I am happy that they are currently not even thinking about touching the GNBT S1 funding and give away an unnecessary large amount of shares for a couple of million dollars just to make some further progress now, which could be falling into their laps without giving away cheap shares soon.
I still think that something, big, huge or even humongous is heading our way, and all we have to do is wait and continue to BELIEVE that it will be happening and we all will be golden.
