I don’t quite follow this rationalization. Don’t get me wrong, Dr. BP is very intelligent and has a good business, but most of his ideas concerning CCR5 and leronlimab are public information. Yes, his diagnostic business is worth money, but I’m unsure if his diagnostic tests are that much better than another company to be bought out. And speaking of someone buying his company, it seems more likely that a larger diagnostic company would buy his company, not a BP.
Honestly, I don’t think Dr. BP is going anywhere. Why? His life research into CCR5 is finally coming to fruition AND there’s a drug, leronlimab, that supports is research. If he goes to a BP, he’s be starting from scratch with another CCR5 MaB that will most likely not be as good as leronlimab. Leronlimab is going to make Dr. BP a very well known and very wealthy researcher. He’s not going anywhere.
