“Sepsis is wildly contagious.” For the sake
Post# of 148183
For the sake of being accurate, sepsis is NOT contagious. Sepsis includes a number of additional syndromes, but most simply defined, sepsis is a dysregulated response by the immune system to an infection. Yes, the infection that lead to sepsis can be contagious, but sepsis itself cannot be transmitted person to person.
I agree that if leronlimab can prevent at risk patients from progressing to ventilation and or sepsis, whether that be in COVID19 or other infections, the FDA will have to approve it.
