I figured the patent pending status would be necessary for the promised PR.
And once the website was updated, the timing of such made it obvious NNLX was waiting on such before the PR also,so the audience could be directed to a Covid 19 relevant website. The website then becomes the biggest part of the PR,free of charge.
NNLX has the patent pending status to protect its tech among those who follow the law (As Mach and I have both pointed out most ppl except the Chinese who are boot strapping their economy by stealing everything in sight to make up for lost time- Mao's feudal society).
The NDA's are usually pushed by the big boys who do not want their competitors to know what they are doing, or even what subject areas they have an interest in-they do not want to alert the competition and thus create more competition.
So the NDA's mean more than what some understand-that some big boys have enough interest to propose and get NDA's- the big boys do not do so without doing an impressive (to most) amount of dd.
As pointed out,Bret is encouraging competition. In the past we have to assume -given the publicly available info -that only one big boy at a time was interested enough to push a NDA.
