Hah! I was at Lake Louise back in 1993 or 3 for a media gathering, and I was shooting the women's WC Downhill and Super G events. Picabo hadn't hit it big at that time, but I knew of her. Met her in the hot tub at the Banff Springs Hotel one evening. Wouldn't have wanted to be in a fight with her....
Hilasry Lindh was the top American at that time. A few years later, when she had retired, I ran into her at Whistler. Had a fun few hours skiing with her. Speedy!
