I was reading that it has to be earned income goin

I was reading that it has to be earned income going into a Roth IRA...not income from investing. With NGIO being a dividend, I'm not sure it qualifies. Let me know if you look into it, I would really like to do it. I linked my accounts to fund the Roth, and it looks like I can highlight the shares and move them. I'm not sure if it would be allowed.
