Will some COVID survivors have chronic fatigue syndrome, which often happens after a bad viral infection?
For scoffers who don't understand, chronic fatigue syndrome is a real disease, with some measurable biomarkers and research to try to identify more. It isn't just being tired -- it often includes orthostatic intolerance, heart problems, light sensitivity and other eye problems, and neurological symptoms. People have varying degrees of severity, with the most severely ill often unable to leave their houses.
Anyway -- now they are speculating that COVID may be triggering a similar syndrome in some patients.
