And let's not forget that we have a contract with China, and if that pans out and a good vaccine is produced there, and it turns out the US passed on funding us, the Trump administration would never live that down. Imagine this on the nightly news right before the election - millions of Chinese lining up to get the NGIO vaccine, and no vaccine in sight in the US. All because BARDA wouldn't give us any money? I don't think so.
