I have been quiet for a while here, as there was nothing much really to discuss, some people even wrote me direct messages asking if I am ok (@Buildit, did you get my reply?
). Thanks for caring and missing me. LOL
Here is my take on this PR. I am honestly at least a little disappointed about this, as I agree with the previous posters, that I thought that the milestone that they are now reporting on should be A MONTH OLD and behind us. So this is not really THE BIG NEWS that I guess we were all hoping for. So I am seriously asking those, who think the PPS is supposed to be going up all the way to $1, WHY DO YOU THINK so??
For more than three full weeks, we've been waiting for a PR on the decision of BARDA to grant us a large sum of funding, like 100+ million USD, and here they do not even mention any of that in the PR anymore. As if they are no longer in negotiations with the US or any other government. At least a final statement addressing there efforts, I would not just liked to read, but EXPECTED TO. Something along the lines of "besides all these great technical advancements, we continue to stay in close/daily contact with BARDA and the health organisations of the following countries, .... . We are confident that we will be able to provide positive news on at least one of those very soon, and to receive a large sum of funding shortly there after."
Oh, and yet again no other information on Form 10, S1s etc.
So after having waited to hear from GNBT for 2.5 weeks, I had expected something with much more substance, and even though I am happy that the PPS has increased so nicely in the last 5+ trading days, I would not expect any further increase based on this news of today, but of course would be happy to be proven wrong.
