It is maddening. One would think that at federal level there will be a board of scientists being summoned, put together in one room (or video conference system) and, working 24/7, deciding where to put effort and money to accelerate the most promising treatments TO SAVE LIVES now (therapeutic options), and afterwards (vaccines).
Why?, capitalism is good and sort things out eventually (the best drugs will prevail in the market), however, money and especial procedures are necessary this time because time is of the essence.
More than 1500 people are dying every day and we are at 95000+ and counting for Pete's sake !!!
So, what do we do ??? Well, not much … And leave everybody to "fight it out", give lengthy trials to companies, and no economical support, or otherwise, to those without political access.
Wouldn't make sense for the federal government to help small companies like ours in this crisis?? (I am not saying CYDY only, there are MANY companies out there with good potential products, imo not as good as Leronlimab, but very worth to have a look at with Federal support). The economical shutdown is creating a lot of suffering, both physical and economical. The impact is in the order of 100's of Billions and small, promising companies can't get a cent to explore possibilities ...
Does it make sense ???
