I like freedom but I value being in communication

I like freedom but I value being in communication with my kids more. They only share through those platforms. It's like the telephone is some anachronism. It is almost shocking to me that I call Samsung customer support when my programming disappeared. They were able to remotely take over my tv and run diagnostics remotely. Who else has two way control within all my devices? (That's rhetorical)
