Fast track gives them the option to request if the criteria is me after the BLA has been accepted also how they got rolling review (fast track). NP has also said if I recall correctly, they will apply and if approved it takes less than 6 months. Sometimes though, he might have not explained it in full detail and it might have came off as 6 months, not sure. Avoiding serious side effects of an available therapy

Eligibility for Accelerated Approval and Priority Review, if relevant criteria are met
Rolling Review , which means that a drug company can submit completed sections of its Biologic License Application (BLA) or New Drug Application (NDA) for review by FDA, rather than waiting until every section of the NDA is completed before the entire application can be reviewed.
