I agree with you.
My guess is that NP feels like he has more latitude disclosing details relating to discussions with Dr. Gustavo Terán and the Mexico FDA because they are maybe "more relaxed" -- and apparently much more motivated.
I think it is also worth noting that Mexico's COVID Strategy Board probably doesn't have 9 (nine) Gilead officers on the board.

This is so blatant (done openly and unashamedly) and flagrant (conspicuously or obviously offensive) that it would almost be comical if it wasn't true.
We can all have our own opinions regarding corruption (or not) in the FDA, NIH, and government -- but there is absolutely no question in my mind as to how a borderline useless remdesivir received FDA approval.
I can only hope that a reputable investigational journalist at a respected media outlet exposes these facts -- and that the people who are responsible for thousands of deaths are punished accordingly.
