Absolutely. In a way, in listening to the last CCs CYDY is, at the moment, completely devoted to COVID.
We all would like to be working full speed in other areas (mTNBC, BC, Oncology basket, Monotherapy, NASH). Any of these is by itself a very large achievement if we can get Leronlimab to the goal post. However is obvious that we do not have resources (human or economical) to pursue these simultaneously (I understand some work is being done but not as much as it would otherwise be if COVID had not shown up).
So, we are doing te right thing. The next large (very large) catalyzer will be the results of our mild to moderate trial.
Back to COVID: 3 centers are recruiting (Montefiore, University of California and Novant) and the primare outcomes are:
Fever, myalgia (muscle pain due to viral infection), dyspnea (shortness of breath) and cough at day 14 with each scored from 0=none to 4=severe.
Imo we should be fully recruited before the end of the month as the progress seems to be robust. Data will be then analyzed for p-value and the world will receive the first official news that Leronlimab works.
Price will jump considerably then as this will harbor several things:
1) FDA will need to make a decision on the need for Pivotal P3 or immediate approval of drug with strict follow up.
2) P2b/3 of Severe will be greatly accelerated as result as the prophylactical benefit has been "officially" vetted.
3) We will be tired of listening to CYDY and Leronlimab in the main news networks
4) The struggle for manufacturing facilities will ramp up as several countries will begin to order Leronlimab
We are just few weeks away from what you call great things
