It just seemed doubtful anyone would buy shares they knew were going to be worth less pretty soon.
Unless that was mandated by Mark as part of a real sweet deal...
in which case your idea makes sense.
It also means big shareholders were being given favoritism over the rest of us which I would think is illegal.
Unless the bid support was another mandate by Mark which was to give the rest of us a chance to get a little something for our shares before they become worth much less.
