I haven’t posted in a while but keep up with everything here, pretty much around the clock as everyone else does lol. Although I’m not a very long “long”, I’m coming up on my one year anniversary of my first buy. I’m grateful and holding for sure. While I surely know nothing about stocks, I think I can give at least a little perspective on the wait for the Medicare provider number.

I’ve been with a medical company for over 20 years as a participating Medicare and Medicaid provider. I can tell you that getting a Medicare provider number is a big PITA. It was all hands on deck with the constant paper trail, legalities, inspections for OSHA, inspections for the warehouse, inspections for Medicare approved inventory, billing software set up, even more careful vetting of staff... on and on and on. I know that some people have probably speculated that because the good Doctor also has a possible connection with Dr. Carson, that somehow maybe he can help fast track it somehow. My experience is that you have to humble yourself and get in the back of the line just like everybody else. With respect to the federal government, nobody is special unless you’re up to no good. And you have to have everything just right or else you will be waiting even longer. It sucks but it is what it is.

But with respect to what Dr. Dalton is doing it is so worth it to get it done first. I believe junebug may have hinted as to why but I’m not sure if he elaborated, so I will. Without your Medicare provider number you simply cannot get paid. As far as I know at least here in America, Medicare is the absolute biggest payor of healthcare claims. So much that if you aren’t Medicare approved, most of the other insurance entities (BC/BS, Tri Care, etc.) won’t even look at you. Your claims for payment are simply denied. If I am correct you also have to have your Medicare number (albeit not providing or billing) to be able to bill Medicaid anyway. The percentage of revenue for Medicaid vs. Medicare will typically be much smaller. Factoring in people who are wealthy enough just to pay cash (private pay) will be substantially smaller than that. The Medicare provider is a must right out of the gate or you will look like an idiot in the healthcare world and not make any money.

I know what it’s like to connect all those dots. We’re still having to connect them. With respect to Medicare you have to keep up and at the same time try to predict where it’s going. What they are allowing you to bill and pay you for today may change and you need to be prepared for what the next big widget is. I hope and believe Teleheath will be here for a very long time.

That is just a PIECE of this conglomerate. Can you imagine doing that and everything else too?!? Like I said before. I’m just grateful to be here and will wait as long as it takes because I certainly couldn’t do all he is doing on my own.
