Apparently we misunderstood or there was mis-speak or both. From what Dr. P explained today, he is waiting for feedback from his peers affiliated with the publication to which his paper was submitted. He expects questions (some of which he has an idea) and is doing experiments in anticipation to address them. My guess is that these questions will be specific to the data and his conclusions derived from them. Since Dr. P is experienced in having papers published (presumption on my part), there will be little of his methods to criticize. I expect the paper to be published around 2-3 weeks from now. If BP is involved, it could take longer as it is much easier to create doubt; i.e., climate change, smoking, anti-vaccers, etc.
