Question
Quote:
"is asking how many patients have been recruited for each of the approved two trials and when do you expect a finalized recruitment"
Quote:
"so in the phase 2 mild-to-moderate as we reported just a few days ago was about 30 patients and we are ramping up the enrollment quite a bit now because enrolling hospitals usually take months we have done that with you know very impressive speed so hopefully we will get a number of patients coming in very quickly but as you know and I said that before to the shareholders we could do an interim analysis next Friday if we decide to do so but we're gonna have to wait for our scientific committee to talk to us but by next Friday if we have 45 perhaps we do an interim analysis"
Given that it's 5/13 and we have at least 45 patients, they obviously haven't rushed to do this. I was surprised as well given that it's only a 75 patient trial. That's why I was curious how the calculations you run from time to time would dictate what occurs. If 45/75 but 100% recovery, could they claim success? I remember you saying that the total number of patients are chosen for a specific reason so that's why I was asking. TIA
