Cramer’s Best Plays for Week Ahead. video

MONDAY FEBRUARY 11

Cramer will be listening for developments in the 'healthy eating' trend as Annie's reports earnings. "I want to hear what this company has to say for itself? I'm hoping to hear about the taking of aisle space in conventional supermarkets. That's the metric I want to see besides sales and earnings growth," said Cramer.

The renaissance in housing will also take center stage as Masco reports. "Could there be a more timely tell than this company, among the largest kitchen, bath and paint plays?" asked Cramer. The Mad Money host will be looking for insights on how many homes are being built, as well as the status of government spending as the Northeast rebuilds after Sandy. "I'm waiting for this conference call with baited breath," said Cramer.

Also the health of travel and leisure will be up for discussion as Norwegian Cruise Lines reports. "The cruise ship stocks are red hot although Cramer thinks there's a better play in the space.

TUESDAY FEBRUARY 12

Cosmetics will be a watchword with Avon calling in the morning. Cramer asks, "Is the previous CEO, Andrea Jung, who remains as a senior advisor to the board of directors, still playing a role? I'm hoping not."

McGraw-Hill, owner of Standard & Poor's, also reports Tuesday. "I want to hear if analysts can pry some news about the justice department's investigation of Standard & Poor's ratings of mortgage backed bonds," said Cramer.

Fashion is also front and center. "We get results from Michael Kors, " said Cramer. Other high-end retailers are strong and I bet this company will come through with flying colors," said Cramer.

In addition Cramer will be watching Tanger Factory Outlet Centers and Federal Realty . "They are the best of the best in the outlet store malls and shopping center real estate investment trusts, respectively. I bet they deliver big-time again," he said

WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 13

Safety first may be the catch phrase on Wednesday as Mine Safety Appliances reports earnings. "Europe's been crushing these guys, so let's listen to find out about their near-term prospects," said Cramer. However Cramer likes this stock as a potential takeout target. " 3M, Honeywell and Dupont all want to get bigger in safety and this is about as big as you get in a single stock," said Cramer.

Also, Mondelez reports after the close. "We sold Mondelez for my charitable trust this week because this stock has been a rocket ship," said Cramer. "If you're long, it makes sense to me to take something off the table."

Again, the 'healthy eating' trend will come into focus, this time with earnings from Whole Foods . "I think this company is on a tremendous growth trajectory, it has phenomenal management, and it's a store people love to go to. As far as I'm concerned, it's one of the best long-term plays out there," said Cramer.

THURSDAY FEBRUARY 14

The need for generators will be top of mind Thursday as Generac reports. "Winter storms have driven this stock sharply higher," said Cramer, it's up 20% since the new year began. I suspect this may be a sell on the news story."

General Motors also reports on Thursday. Here's what Cramer wants to know. "Can China become GM's largest market? Will Europe ding sales or does it matter? Will the government soon be out of it?" Cramer will be listening for insights.

In addition, PepsiCo reports on Thursday. "Pepsi might be prone to profit taking because it's climbed steadily since the beginning of the year. Longer term, however, emerging markets should be a major catalyst and I would use any weakness to roll into the stock once we hear the call, said Cramer

On top of all that, Cramer is eager to hear from Waste Management . "There been lots of talk about how the company could do a real estate investment trust conversion. Will they? I suspect we'll learn when they report," he said. "Also I want to hear about nat gas conversions for garbage trucks and hints of a bigger dividend."

Energy will be center stage on Friday as Enbridge reports earnings. " Who knows more about energy independence than these guys? It's one of my favorites; they have an amazing collection of energy assets," said Cramer.
