I was under the impression that the Severe trial included the ability of a preliminary readout of the first 50 patients after two weeks. I could be mistaken.
If, by chance, that is true, then the May 8th revision to that trial, which includes many new hospitals, might get us to 50 patients pretty quickly.
And if that is true, I was hoping that the results from the 75 patient Mild to Moderate, along with the preliminary readout of the first 50 Severe patients (after two weeks), might be enough for the FDA to not demand a P3 trial for the Mild to Moderate.
It is true that several of the new hospitals are not yet actively recruiting, but we'd at least get some visibility regarding progress at Novant Health.
