Tele-Medicine or more accurately video medicine will play a prominent role in healthcare going forward. In states where marijuana is legal, a client no longer will need to visit a doctor or healthcare provider to be prescribed their medication. Instead, one merely needs to set up a video chat with your healthcare provider, and presto, you will have your prescription. Ideally, one will not even need to leave one’s home. The prescription will be delivered to your front door --- maybe even delivered by a drone. All transactions will take place electronically, and all records will be stored electronically so pharmacists can fill one’s prescription wherever one goes. A brave new world indeed. And, this same video healthcare system can and will be used for most every kind of ailment one can think of. If only we can get rid of the area networks insurance companies now insist on. When rules and laws are changed that allow any healthcare provider anywhere to treat and prescribe as needed, insurance will then cover a doctor in New York diagnosing and prescribing to a client in L.A. I suspect this is coming folks, and we will all be far better off when it finally does arrive. In this respect, Doctor Dalton is ahead of the curve. Hopefully, we will see at some point how big his operation actually is.
