Also, as a word of warning from someone who's been through this scenario before (i.e. me), I would NEVER use stop losses knowing a short attack is headed my way. Their goal is to dump a bunch of shares at the opening bell and hope it triggers Stop Losses that will only add fuel to the fire and continue the drop in sp. This strategy allows them to do much more damage to the sp by borrowing fewer shares. Unfortunately for those who use Stop Losses, they not only lose their shares at a low sp, but then have to chase the sp back up as they try to repurchase them.
