I believe you’re referencing the article below, by an NBC news station near Palm Springs, CA. The study they discuss is most likely the phase 2 for mild to moderate patients with COVID19. Technically this wouldn’t be labeled a PREP study as preexposure prophylaxis (PREP) is given to an individual to prevent an infection from occurring (example: Leronlimab as a potential PReP for persons at high risk for contracting HIV).
