Here is a new thought that I have developed today.
We were all complaining about the overly optimistic predictions from Joe during CCs and within PRs, and now we are complaining about the lack of news that they putting out.
Seeing it from the positive side, I am at least asking myself, if Joe may have learned his lesson, and has now moved back to his way to act and communicate with us from his first 18 months "in office". There they worked behind closed doors and only came out with a PR once facts have been created and could be announced publicly.
This way they have been working for almost 1.5 years before they announced the Veneto deal, which caused a first significant increase in the PPS.
To me, carefully reading through the most recent 3 or 4 PRs, I have come to the conclusion that they are making great progress on the Covid-19 front, but without all creating all that noise, as they did in entire 2019, which we all know now included a whole lot of disaster for all of us, and created a lot of frustration.
Three weeks ago, they reported about more of an loose idea about a roadmap towards a developed, tested, FDA approved and mass produced vaccine. Then last week, in the second half of the AE37 PR, they reported about significant progress, as they informed us about having "prepared a proposal for an end-to-end" vaccine development. (So here I have to correct myself and my posting from yesterday, where I thought I'd read that the application to BARDA was already filed last week).
Then yesterday, they reported on the next major step forward, in officially filing that application with BARDA. And with all that confidence, seriousness and diligence that I read out of all this, I have very little doubt left, that they will finally be awarded with the approval of their application and that soon we will read in a PR about the next major step forward that they have received that BARDA approval and mid to high 8 figure dollar amount in funding from the government.
So in my view, we should not really bother commenting 10 or more times per day about the falling PPS, as long as someone is not reporting on having made use of these "deep discounts currently available" on a GNBT share purchase, and more look forward to the next major step forward PR, as mentioned above. I am confident that we will get there sometime in May 2020, and all that only refers to the important US jurisdiction, with potential nice surprises possible from Canada or some European country.
Keep the faith and we will be positively surprised soon.
