This is exactly what I expected the FDA to do. They have over 130 applications for antibody tests, which Dr. Birx begged for over the last 6 weeks, and the FDA just killed all of these applications in one swell foop. Some of these applications have been in front of the EUA team since late January. This is what the FDA does, this is why that organization needs a well deserved overhaul, starting at the top. Their concept of what's good for public health means take no risk and follow the Obama Administration's guidelines. Torture small business.
