Perhaps I should have just started the evening's drinking session, but instead I just sat down and wrote to my senators and congressmen about CytoDyn and leronlimab. The clear lobbying influence in DC makes me ill, and perhaps writing to all of our representatives will strike the right chord with one somewhere. Not to play partisan politics - because I despise all of them - but it may be particularly useful to reach out to reasonable but staunch opponents of the current administration. I'm sure that they would love to call out the White House while touting the drug that ends the pandemic. I'd encourage you all to consider doing the same, in a factual and respectful manner, of course.

With that, I'm going to commence drinking for the evening.
