If preaching to the choir would get a drug approved, we'd all be on private islands by now. Seriously, this was a bit of a joke. It was all info that we already knew, they seemed to make it clear they have NO IDEA if/when Dr. P's results will be published, and aside from making some good backhanded compliments to Gilead ("We got patients out in 5 days, congrats to Gilead for doing it in 11!"
, this was a "nothing burger" 100%.
Don't get me wrong, I know and understand that the FDA works as fast as it wants to, and of course there are politics at play here too, despite the loss of human life each day. But I am tired of our little cult waving its flags and cheering while the rest of the world suffers and/or dies needlessly. We need a better PR company for sure. And NP should have told the host of the show from the start (before the webcast) that it is not LERON LIMAB. This is not someone's first and last name, learn to pronounce it!
