Dr Eckhardt is a newly appointed director of NGIO and on the staff at Univ of Texas and a bigwig in the oncology dept and research and I believe is on the board of the Melinda Foundation.

I am not familiar with the Melinda Foundation. I know Melinda Gates is from Texas and the B&M Gates foundation strongly support the university system.
