It's going to be harder to fill the mild to moderate trial when every patient believes there's a miracle to be had with Remdesivir thanks to the news, and assuming it gets approval quickly like I bet it does, the stamp of approval from the FDA will also make it hard. We're still too far under the radar. The journal article will go a long way but maybe we need funding from a government source (supposedly there are a couple reaching out to ask us to apply, according to NP) to really get us in the major media and in front of the frontline providers trying to make fast, tough decisions. I don't know. It's crazy and disheartening to think about how easily Gilead is getting press. Meanwhile people are dying and Leronlimab can't even* seem to get inside the building. It's like they're standing outside the FDA's window with a boombox (John Cusack-style) trying to convince them to give us a chance.
*I do have faith that we've gotten in the building, but someone in that building has to stand the hell up and make a decision to start saving more lives.
