Right now, news regarding cannabis companies is skimpy at best or non-existent, but I expect that to change soon (like next week already). If you read prior posts, you will see I predicted news by the middle of May once the country begins to reopen. While some think news will come by the end of this month, I suggested it is possible, but not likely. The thing is, companies are busy right now dealing with all issues related to the corona virus, and that must pass before regular operation can finally begin. So I suggest the middle of May at the soonest if nothing happens today or tomorrow.

As an example, just look at the difficulties Doctor Mitchell is having getting his products launched. Mitchell intended to launch 13 new products around the middle of April, but contracts were put on hold in order to meet the needs of first-responders and medical personnel. Even one clinical trial was postponed (a really big one, too). All these things will begin to happen once the country is back to work and operating normally. However, I do expect the number of product offerings to be smaller than expected and the number of mergers, acquisitions, and buy-outs to diminish. This is not because of poor management or lack of planning. Instead, delays and rescheduling are a result of an entire nation shutting down to meet the demands of a pandemic. This too shall pass, and we will be better and stronger than ever before. No one should ever bet against the United States and the power of the US economy.
