Part I: Paradigm Convergence Technologies Corporation
After returning to the states via an embassy sponsored evacuation flight from my regular job in West Africa the second week of April, I started looking for investment and business opportunities closer to home.
After a week of checking various companies I stumbled across Paradigm Convergence Technologies Corporation (OTC Pink: PCTL), a company that provides innovative products and technologies for eliminating contamination from medical devices , food processing equipment, hard surfaces, etc… a company in the right place (USA) with the right product for rapid growth (Annihilyzer® Infection Control System, Hydrolyte® and Catholyte Free™) at the right time (Pandemic).
Not being one to jump in with out doing my own Due Diligence (something everyone should do), I reached out to the company via their website contact form and they responded within 24 hours (1 star).
After some discussions (several phone calls over several days) I let them know I wanted to meet with them and view the facility in person. I was waiting for pushback at that point but what I received was an “open arms” invitation. (1 star). They did advise me that the local airport was closed as were the local hotels due to the pandemic and stay-at-home orders of the governor.
Being a seasoned traveler and not one to be deterred, I let them know I would find a way to get down to Little River, S.C. the following weekend.
After making the necessary arrangements to arrive in S.C. Thursday evening so that I could have a full day with the company on Friday and Saturday, American Airlines canceled our flight on Thursday morning and we were re-booked on the red-eye leaving Denver at 12:40 AM Friday morning. We arrived in Columbia, SC a little after 9:00 AM and picked up our rental car from Hertz.
After stopping at the hotel in Lugoff, S.C. to freshen up after the trip, we made our way down to the PCTC Facility arriving at about 3:30 in the afternoon. The Paradigm facilities were real (1 Star) and not some empty building or vacant lot. The facility is located within an Industrial Park and although the address is listed as Little River, I believe it is actually located in North Myrtle Beach as it is SW of the SC9 highway.
On our arrival we were met by Gary Grieco (CEO), Bill Prince (President) and Stuart Emmons (Exec. VP Engineering and Production) among others (1 Star).
As Gary had to leave early to attend to business matters out of state the following day, our first day (few hours) was primarily spent with him asking the hard questions about… dilution, possibility of RS, profitability and sustainability of the business, current contracts, expansion plans, etc…
Unfortunately, due to our NDA with Paradigm, I will not be posting the answers I received on the board but, I believe he has answered those question in the various Press Releases (which I would take to heart). What I can say is that he (Gary) was adamant that there would be no RS going forward, any future dilution would be negligible, expansion plans were on schedule and contracts were in place with more coming in.
Gary also pointed out that because of the current environment (Pandemic) and scrutiny that many companies are facing by the SEC and EPA among others, Paradigm is running their operation in strict conformance with the current rules and regulations and that includes not making any claims outside of what is allowed by EPA regulations. In conjunction with this meeting, my son, who holds a certificate in bookkeeping, met with the comptroller for Paradigm.
It was getting late in the day by the time we were finished and Gary thanked me for coming by and invited me to come back the next day to meet with Bill Prince and tour the facility.
My overall impression on day one was 4 stars. Paradigm Convergence Technologies Corporation is a real company, with real people, real products and very real potential for massive growth in the near term.
“Mary” sent my son and I back to the hotel with a homemade lasagna dinner which I am hoping to get the recipe for (next time I am down there) as well as some information to review in preparation for our next meeting with Bill the following day.
Part 2: Paradigm Convergence Technologies Corporation coming tomorrow… stay tuned!
