Absolutely. I doubt many warrant holders will convert (unless up against expiration) and sell right away given how big the upside could be.
Any new money will absolutely provide financing for a discount and hold to maximize gains as long as they believe in a bright future.
Key will be where the new money comes from. Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation? US Government? Clinton Foundation (mentioned in cc I think)? Other government? Big Pharma?
