I agree 100%. As much as I want our drug to be on

My hope right now is that someone in the FDA, government, WHO or otherwise figures out how to expedite the review and analysis of safe and promising treatments. Every day that goes by the human and economic tolls mount.
In the PR today, the phrase "Timeline for Potential Approval of Treatment for COVID-19 Patients" really got my attention.
Assuming this was intentionally worded this way (phraseology has been an issue in the past) this leads me to believe they have some defined path forward.
Perhaps compassionate use? Perhaps just an update on enrollment? I am REALLY hoping it is more along the lines of a Ph 4 confirmatory trial.
For those that dont know the FDA has the authority to approve a drug for use and use the data from the patients to compile data after approval. This is the path we are seeking with Cancer. I have to admit, with all of the recent blunders with Hydroxychloroquine and Resdemivir, I think this is a longshot.
