Not wishing to sound like I'm making lite of the situation. I've been saying (yes you are correct that a huge % of deaths are in the nursing homes) that the ones that are testing negative should be evacuated out of the the nursing home and moved to facilities that have everyone else testing neg. for CV19. And move those testing POS. to a nursing home where every other resident is positive as well. Not trying to be or sound callous in the situation. But "if" all are POS. at one facility, then the facility can be in lockdown, proper medications can be used for all, ventilators and other equipment can be shipped into one place and NOT have to worry who the next to test positive will be. The whole facility will be a quarantine area. IF and when someone recovers they can be transferred out to a less secured facility. The ones that are NEG. and moved out would be in a much safer situation - (and NO visiting grandma to show her your pictures from your Florida trip). I guess my example would be: if you had a 150 bed nursing home and 50 are positive. Do you just leave the persons testing NEG there until they finally catch CV19? Again, NOT trying to be uncaring.
