Yes, I understand that, but being ahead in terms of trials doesn't make it the #1 drug. You can be ahead as far as trials but not be having the best results. Take hydroxcholoquine for example. They are miles ahead of leronlimab in a sense, but don't seem to have the results/safety profile that leronlimab does. As Dr. Lalezari has said, once the world realizes that the current antivirals being tested really aren't going to cut it, leronlimab as a treatment is going to shine through. Here's to hoping that day isn't months away!
