SICPA coalition would be direct competition. Interesting they did not participate in webinar in QMC role.
One thing to remember is that QMC has a USP of the only QD ID solution that does not use cryptography to register in it's DLT blockchain.
Another is that there are billions of people in the world and capacity to supply tests from one system might be limited, so there is big room for more than one system.
Jay Williams made the point that it is important to have interoperability between systems. QMC, DAML and SEXTANT by BTP using Hyperledger Sawtooth have it and are building more flexibility to their system. If SICPA Group is based in Europe, maybe QMC works in USA and they cooperate by establishing communication between systems.
3 million testls per week would take two years to cover the USA one time.
