I came back to Indiana from a couple years in California
and 1st experience with espresso coffee shoppes.
Every body here lauged at the notion of people paying
more than a dollar for a cup of coffee.
The only espresso here in 1972 were in college towns
of which i availed myself. I almost took a job back then as
a manager of an espresso shoppe in an artists' colony in
the woods a big tourist attraction in the woods in the fall
south central Ind.- the local craftsmen and artists kept the
place humming.
