Sounds like we need an attitude check!!

First, I understand there is a lot of animosity and grumbling on the other boards. I stay away from ALL of them. there is nothing there that I need to know or to read, opinions, pumping, dumping, and all the other extraneous info that can only create unnecesary emotional turmoil.
Next my comments about Paul. Having visited the mine sites 3 times and having traveled by auto from Tucson to Elena alone with him a couple of times I have had plenty of time to get to know him. On the hunorous side we shared our outlandish tall tales of our earlier years and I have found him to be as, if not more, adventurous and fun loving as I ever was, plus he's a fellow aviator with a lifetime of experiences and harrowing tales!! Also my opinion is that Paul is a most kind, considerate, and thoughtful person, an animal lover, and blatantly honest. Like all of us he is not without fault. But being lazy is not one of them as I have found him to be as hardworking, if not more so, as any one of the crew at Elena. His ability to scrounge and put together machinery amazes me to this day. As regards mining he has made many a mistep but his tenacity and drive to produce gold I believe has finally gotten him to where he wants to be which includes himself and all the investors. He and the crew have persisted in face of overwhelming odds and finally broke the code on what it takes to produce gold.
Now, as regards where we're at as investors. First of all we have to understand that no one held a gun to our head and made us put funds in Mexus! For better or worse that was our, or your, choice and you just have to live with it whether you believe Mexus has a future or not. To me as regards future events I believe 4 things need to happen for Mexus to become the reality that we all have desired for a long time now, and that especially includes Paul.
Number one: The coronavirus impact. As of this writing Mexico has just under 7,000 cases with 546 deaths. And it has recently been reported to me from Mexico that Caborca has only had a couple of cases and they were moved to Hermasillo. Mexico is clamping down and the Herraduro mine was reportedly closed as of a couple of days ago. But ops at Elena have apparently not been shut down but their travel and ability to get supplies from Hermasillo and elsewhere has been affected by restrictions. The border is more difficult to transit now and will adversely affect the timing of getting equipment cleared to cross into Mexico. And stateside, getting a permit on CA highways to transport heavy equipment, wide loads, trailers, etc., will be difficult until restrictions are lifted. It is all our hopes, I'm sure, that the virus will abate soon and conditions return to normal. Without the virus, production at this point, would in all likelihood, be full steam ahead!
Number two: Loans, that ugly word! The two that were due recently, and looks like have been defaulted on, have created the dump recently that we are seeing. Hopefully all those shares will have been sold this coming week. Assuming all goes as I hope it does that should be the end of defaulted loans as future production could not only sustain ops but get those last three paid off. I understand Paul had to do what he had to do regarding loans or just sit by and watch the company die. Better the loans than to fold the company! The future loans MUST be paid or we just sink further into the abyss.
Number three: Production. As I have watched Elena rise from the ashes over the past couple of years it has been an amazing transition of adapting, experimenting, and innovation. The end result is that the process of producing gold has proven by the Elena crew. Reminds me of the old saying of unknown origin, "We have done so much with so little, for so long, that we can now do anything with nothing". Apparently production is ongoing and at what I believe is an ever increasing pace, albeit with the virus related stand downs among other inevitable short periods of interrupted ops that I suspect are happening and are part of any mining operation. To me, production becomes exponential, the more you get, the more you get! Production allows the ramping up of ops with ever larger amounts of return. The more return, the larger the expansion. Unfortunately the virus reared its ugly head and put a crimp in, although not stopping best I know, continuing production. Bottom line, survivability and the building of a viable profitable business depends on an ever expanding and sustained gold production. It is my belief that we are finally traveling down that road or perhaps will be soon. Paul, hopefully, will soon publish some numbers and facts that will verify what I believe will be some great news. And please remember, this is my conjecture and thoughts only.
Number four: Another dirty word, reverse split. That will probably have to happen at some point down the line as there are just too many outstanding shares. For the average penny or sub-penny stock a reverse split is the death knell. However, and this is my belief only, is that if the split occurs on a timely basis with Mexus having sustained, and reported, good gold production numbers, and all the aforementioned boogers out of the way, then it would not hurt the company but only enhance the image as well as the share price. Initially, perhaps a sell off but long term I believe it would benfit us all. We would all most assuredly like to see a successful Mexus company and be proud that we are in it.
So in summary, a lot of ifs, but assuming the virus doesn't bring an absolute halt to ops, the loans are paid off, production continues to improve, timely and informative PR's are published, and a reverse split is out of the way we will prosper. And I do think Paul will be more likely to issue PR's when it's all positive and not future projections that seems to never happen or are delayed, but rather good events that have happened. And as well perhaps there will be less of the continuing belly aching that has gone on with previous PR's, perhaps justifiably so, which is why we probably haven't seen one in awhile. So I repeat my mantra, "Wait and hope".
As a final note, I am transferring a small amount into my trading account, should have done it a few days ago, and should the price remain in the .002's or plummet even further this next week then I will definitely be a buyer. Not suggesting that anyone that reads this do the same. The funds won't clear for a few days though.
Good luck to all and hope all of us investors get a payday down the line. I know Paul is working tirelessly, and has been, to make it happen. GGB
